Jacob Stark


Jacob is a graduate of UCLA Law School and the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting, as well as a summa cum laude graduate of NYU with a bachelor’s degree in History where he was part of both Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Alpha Theta History Honors Society.

Jacob was admitted to the California Bar in 2011.  Jacob’s practice at Lesowitz Gebelin LLP focuses on commercial litigation, including business investment matters, entertainment and media related disputes, and trade secret litigation.

As a writer, Jacob has had projects optioned in Germany, Mexico, and the United States. Jacob previously sold a film pitch to Nickelodeon Original Movies and was hired to write the hybrid live/animation project. Jacob has also awarded a JWI Fellowship, and written a noir-comedy for Crystal City Entertainment, the production company behind Ides of March and Lee Daniels’ The Butler.
